So I recently got back from a visit with my dad's side of the family. I was in West Virginia for the majority of the time. It was the Higgs-Spoden-Stein family reunion. Most of these people I havent seen since 1998 so it was really great seeing them again. Most notably my cousin Christian from Germany. It's always great seeing him... he's really the only one on that side of the family that I can stand for long lengths of time.
I'm glad to be back, but not really looking forward to going to work again. Not much to do about that.

Things with the new roommate are doing good. We ended up going to the PBR in Tacoma in March and we've been to a couple other local rodeos. We also saw Alan Jackson in concert a few months back.

I've got a new Kitty. She's a Chausie and her name is Cougar(Coug). She's only 7 months old and she's a doll. So far she's lost 3 of her kitten teeth. Here are a few pics )
Well, I guess I'm going to try and go to sleep now since I have to work tomorrow.

I finished moving back to the Eastside this weekend, thank god! Renton was killing me. I was so out of place down there. It's seriously Ghetto. I'm so glad I'm back with the snobs of Redmond, Kirkland and Bellevue, where I belong. It's funny, I really like my roommate and I just met her the weekend before last. She's my mom's trainer's girlfriend. It's really funny and weird but we have a lot in common.

In fact, we were planning on going to the PBR at the Tacoma Dome on the 16th together and we're trying to get some other people to go. I've been putting the word out at work and I think Hannah might come if she can convince the fiance. We shall see.

What a week (not if a good way)! Things have been UBER crazy lately. I'm really looking forward to the end of March. I get to be away from work, kind of, for 4 days. Not having to deal with any appointments, walk-ins, phones ringing off the hook. It'll be nice. I'm going on a business trip aka PK training for Kohler Co.

I bought a new jacket last weekend and I'm totally in love with it. It's a black trench/rain coat that ends just above the hips and it's lined with a purple/pinkish material on the inside. It's very cute and fits perfectly. I also bought a black satiny shirt, and as a b-day present got new black slacks, a black velvet pencil skirt, and a shimmery black cardigan. I'm in love with all of them.

I also recently bought lots of socks from www.sockdreams.com I got 3 pairs on knee highs ( a pair of black with two white stripes at the top, a solid pair of black and a solid pair of burgandy) I also bought black and grey striped thigh highs, black and burgandy thigh highs and a pair of black with two white stripes at the top thigh highs. I'm very happy with them and I'm tempted to buy more... Is that bad?

Alright, now I'm going to go watch Irreversible with Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci

While looking at On Demand I decided to watch Deep Impact with Elijah Wood, Tea Leoni, Robert Duvall, and Danny Glover. It came out in 1998 and I haven't seen it since that year... wow. CGI has come so far. I had the same thought a couple of weeks ago when I was watching Independence Day. It's a little harder to concentrate on the movie when you're trying not to laugh at the graphics. I still enjoyed watching them. Next near apocolyptic movie to watch... I'm thinking Volcano with Harrison Ford.

I'm also toying with the idea of buying both seasons of Rome. That was an excellent show. I think that since they're going to be airing Dexter (after a little... A LOT.. of cleaning up, lol) on CBS, that another network should pick up Rome. It would need a lot of cleaning up as well, but I think it would do great. Especially with the writer strike still going on. Who knows how long this mess could last.

Alright, time to do some Yoga, make tea and go to bed.

I love Fredrick's of Hollywood! I so just spent tons of money on early birthday presents for me. Taking total advantage of their free shipping on orders over $75, and got quite a bit of stuff. Now I'm toying with the idea of buying Hawksley Workman- Lover/Fighter.... I've been fighting myself on this for a while and I'm trying not to cave. The only thing that's distracting me enough is the Whitesnake kick that I seem to be on. Woot, hair bands!

So I'm sitting here with my new favorite tea (the Comforting tea from Aveda) and starting Romancing the Stone. A great Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas flick. Romancing the Stone and Peggy Sue Got Married are my two favorite Kathleen Turner movies. Can't go wrong with either one if you want a little break from reality.

Earlier I had watched Nacht der Lebenden Loser, Die (Night of the Living Dorks) It is a German film about Philip, Wurst (Weener), Konrad, 3 nerdy highschoolers that get in an automobile accident and end up turning into zombies. It was better then I expected and a lot of laughs. I also think that Manuel Cortez who played Wurst (Weener) was absolutely adorable. I will upload pictures later when lj isn't being so retarded. Sorry all.

Alrighty, I'm going to finish up Romancing the Stone and then I'm going to bed because I have to work tomorrow (which I want to protest) and I'm really tired. Hope everyone out in lj land is doing fabulous. Take care!

Alright, there has been a lot of drama the last 2 weeks... I ended up having to find my reptiles a new home because Morganne, who is no longer my friend, claims that since I have no respect for her she can't take on the responsibility of looking after my reptiles. She's just being stupid and the audacity that (a.) she's claiming that I have no respect for her and (b.) the actions she's taking against me. She's going to have a lot of regrets when this is over and done with and I'm not going to be there. This is the last straw. After all that I have put up with and everything I've done for her. I miss them so much.

I found a woman to take them in who has a lot of experience with reptiles. I hope that I did what was best for them. I couldn't have thim in the place that I'm renting and it would be ridiculous to have them at my moms and have to travel there every week when they can't even turn the night/day lights on and off twice a day.

In other, more exciting news, I bought the first and second season of Veronica Mars today. Huzzah! But right now, I'm watching Independence Day, it's been a while since I've seen it. I totally didn't realize/remember that Adam Balwin aka Jayne Cobb was in it. He's so adorable and young!

So I'm going to be moving on Saturday to my new home in Renton. I'm really looking forward to it. My new roommate is really cool. He's a metro asian, with leather furniture, a huge tv and a cigar collection. It's gonna be awesome.

I've also been playing a lot of guitar hero 3. I'm starting to play hard... man it sucks, but I can't get enough.

So, I might be moving down to Covington soon. Yay to moving out of my mom's house and taking another step to independence.

I am also learning how to work on mustangs. I took the engine and the transmission out of a purple 1987 5.0 litre fox GT and put it in a black 1986 5.0 litre fox body. It was loads of grease monkey fun.
